Mollejón Veteado, Polished Rectangular Multi-Use is natural stone supplied by Deco Rock in Costa Rica — porous calcareous stone.
Mollejón is the most porous natural stone we carry — and the most rewarding when it is sealed properly.
This piece is a rectangular multi-use format that can be laid with a tight joint or fully dry-stacked polished to a smooth, closed surface that brings out the colour and pattern in the stone.
Typical uses: vertical walls, facades, columns and polished interior floors.

Mollejón Veteado, Polished Rectangular Multi-Use is natural stone supplied by Deco Rock in Costa Rica — porous calcareous stone. A rectangular multi-use format that can be laid with a tight joint or fully dry-stacked.
Mollejón is the most porous stone in the range. It needs a penetrating sealer followed by a high-quality topping sealer, reapplied periodically, and it performs best on vertical walls. Never pressure-wash it aggressively.
